Adabi Cocktail has been influential in the space of music and art by working closly with legends like Padma Shri Nida Fazli and Padma Shri Tom Alter, Padma Shri Jaspinder Narula, Malti Joshi, Jazim Sharma, Parul Mishra & Geeta Das. creating a unique platform where art, music and literature blend into one.
We have also produced a documentary on the life of Padamshri Nida fazli which was selected in IFFI Indian Panorma 2024

STORY
STORY BEHIND ADABI COCKTAIL
Adabi Cocktail started out as a confluence of Literature, Art and Music. An annual event presenting a series of activities featuring one poet and one painter in each chapter. Each event witnessed recitation of verses of a selected poet by well known artist. The Events also included a musical rendition of verses by talented singers along with display of paintings based on poems of the poet by an established artist.
The very first presentation of Adabi Cocktail featured legendary poet- writer Padmashri Nida Fazli. Young talented talented singers singers like Jazim Sharma, Parul Mishra and famous Ghazal singer Malti Joshi who sing eight selected works of Shri Nida Fazli. Noted theatre and film actor Padmashri Tom Alter recited 4 poetic work of Nida Sahib. Ms Geeta Dass, an artist of international fame was selected be a part of the event. Geeta had already created the magic of colours in collaboration with artists like Anupam Kher, Anup Jalota and others. Paintings by Ms Geeta Das based on the selected works of Nida Fazli completed the union of the three forms, Literature, Music and Art.

For the first time in history, Ram Katha will be staged in Urdu. The play Imam-e-Hind: Ram, written by Dr. Mohammad Aleem, was announced to be staged in hundred cities of the country at the Constitution Club in New Delhi.
